Our Story
​Boyer and Company was established by Hubert Boyer in 1980 in Burnsville and expanded to LeSueur in 2006. His daughter Kelly Loose, also a CPA, has been with the firm since 1981. Additionally, the firm employs three other Certified Public Accountants, a senior accountant and additional support staff.
The firm specializes in small business and individual accounts. During the past 30+ years, Boyer and Company has been providing outstanding services to communities in the Twin Cities, especially those in the south metro areas.
Our Staff
Hubert Boyer, CPA - Founder
1937-2019
Hubert was a CPA for over 50 years. After graduating college at the University of Minnesota, Hubert worked as an accountant for the Air Force in both Idaho & Texas. After his time with the Air Force, he moved back to Minnesota and worked for a local CPA firm before starting Boyer & Company in 1980.
Steve Erpenbach, CPA
Steve joined Boyer & Company in 2017. He has been a CPA for over 30 years. Steve has experience in business and individual income taxes as well as estate & trust returns.
Ashley Elsner, Office Manager
Ashley began working at Boyer & Company in 2011. She manages the day to day operations of the company. Between answering the phones and greeting the clients, she works closely with the CPAs and assists them with daily tasks.
Kelly Loose, CPA - President
Kelly followed in her father’s footsteps and joined Boyer & Company in 1981. She started as a general accountant/bookkeeper. She has been a CPA since 1992, with over 20 years of experience in business and individual income taxes, government audits, and IRS representation.
Randall Hoppe, Senior Accountant
Boyer & Company expanded to LeSueur, MN in 2006 and Randy joined our team as a senior accountant. He has been in the industry since 1990.
Chelsea Loose, Data Entry
Chelsea has been with Boyer & Company since 2011. She does a variety of tasks, including data entry, QuickBooks, payroll services, and other clerical work.
